Joy Savage founded Fuse, a research and consulting firm, to further her focus on innovating in retirement outcomes for Canadians. She works with pensions, investors and policymakers to design and deliver positive change.
Joy has 20 years of experience in strategy consulting and financial services. She led the Investment Management practice for a leading global consulting firm, serving as a trusted advisor to decision-makers in the pension, private equity and asset management industries. Prior, with an independent investment dealer, she held progressively senior roles in capital markets operations, investor relations and wealth management and participated in >$1B of M&A transactions, from deal thesis to integration. She earned a BA (Hons) from Queen’s University and an MBA from the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto and the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.
Joy brings a uniquely creative and collaborative approach to her work, sharing from her experience in corporate, customer and technology strategy as well as the design and delivery of transformation programs. Her passion is problem solving and her superpower is building commitment among diverse teams. She can currently be found reimagining pension plan design and the role of data in investing.
